Skittles is just loads of fun and is super affectionate, his confidence is growing everyday and he loves to play and explore in the yard. He likes to spend time outside but is also well behaved inside and really likes to be with people. He is currently being fostered with his sister and 2 large dogs and is very respectful of their space. He's been meeting new people and friendly dogs that visit and his social skills are developing nicely. Skittles is crate trained and sleeps in his crate every night, he is doing very well with toilet training and is mastering basic obedience very quickly. He already knows how to Sit, Drop and Look and will know more before he goes to his forever home. This wee boy just steals your heart with his cheeky little face and flirty behaviour. Skittles will blend nicely with any family dynamic and will bring heaps of love and laughter to the lucky family that adopts him.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
