About Ishkara
Meet beautiful Ishkara. This stunning looking girl has a heart of gold but she needs an extra-special person to help bring it to the surface. Despite her young age she has already had more than one litter of kittens; after the most recent lot her family decided they would keep the kittens and 'get rid' of her. We don't know what has happened to Ishkara in her life, but it seems that most of it has not been good. This girl is so sweet and vulnerable; she years to love and be loved but her eyes so often fill with genuine fear, it will break your heart. She shies away from human contact at first and sometimes trembles with fear, too nervous to eat or drink while people are too nearby.
Ishkara needs a home with no children and no dogs, a home with a new family who have patience and time to spend coaxing her out of her shell and teaching her how to live happily in a home. She has lived around other cats before and could easily live with other felines, in fact we feel that a confident, friendly cat could really help her come out of her shell. But most of all she needs that loving person, patient and kind, to allow her to blossom into the beautiful cat that we know is hiding behind a veneer or fear and past mistreatment.
If you think you can offer Ishkara what she needs, please contact us today to meet this stunning little lass.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
