About Boss ~ kelpie x Staffy puppy (on trial 1/06/17)
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Boss
Boss is a handsome 6 month old, male, Kelpie x Staffy puppy. Boss is a very affectionate little boy that loves to please his Hooman. We are teaching him basic commands such as sitting and waiting for his food and house training. He is very gentle and good with children, dogs and cats.
Boss loves to play with toys and has just learnt to fetch! Being a healthy young dog he enjoys a daily walk. He is used to children, yet like all pups, he will jump in excitement and climb over children that are small or sitting on the ground.
Boss needs a home where he will continue to learn and get plenty of attention. He is happy to lounge around and likes to give heaps of kisses. He would like to live with a canine play mate because he tends to get lonely if he has to be left by himself. He is a timid boy who will benefit from gentle exposure, at his own pace, to new things to build his confidence. Positive reinforcement training, patience and caring will bring out his full potential.
Boss if ok to be outside while you're at work we would like him to be welcome inside when people are home. He seeks out and needs human companionship. He is a medium sized dog.
Boss is a handsome, smart and very loving young dog who will bring lots of affection and fun to his forever home.
For more information or to meet Boss, please contact his foster carer Kristi on 0403 081 260 or email belle_km@yahoo.com.au. Boss is in foster care in Lemontree Passage, NSW (Port Stephens, north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Boss's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
