Hey hey, my name is Layla!

I'm a gorgeous young hound who is seeking a loving home. Are you looking for an energetic, playful, affectionate companion? If you are then I might just be the one you're looking for!

As wonderful as my breed is, we're not for everyone! We hounds can be a bit stubborn, so my new family will need to be confident, strong leaders who will put lots of time into training and socialisation. Mental and physical stimulation and plenty of things to do to keep me out of trouble is a must!

I know how to sit, for a food reward of course, but I do have a lot to learn. My favourite pastime is going to the park and sniffing all the good smells, I will follow my nose when I catch a good scent so it is best that I'm kept on a lead when I'm out in public. I also really love getting cuddles and hanging out with my carers, I'm a very human orientated dog, so a home where I will be allowed inside with my family would be best.

I'm friendly and sociable with other dogs, I'd love another hound to hang out with. A home without feline friends please, chasing them is just a little too tempting. Come down to the Adoption Hub and say hi!
