About Missy
Hi everyone, my name is Missy. I am a 5 year old desexed female Mini Foxie x Chihuahua. I weigh in at a whopping 6kg. I am wormed, heartworm treated and fully vaccinated.
I found myself in rescue with the trainers at Canine Lifeline as I was a little bit naughty and didn't get on well with my doggy sister. I also had a doggy brother and we got on well as I treated him properly. I am currently in foster care with four female dogs, who I get along with but I am never left unsupervised with them just in case. I would probably get cranky with young, boisterous, pushy dogs as I don’t like dogs in my face. I am good with the two cats at my foster Mums house - I would be cool to live with a cat.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I love to play with a ball - if you throw it all day, I will play all day. I'm also a water baby. Turn the hose on and I will jump around under the water trying to catch it.
I like to be kept busy. My foster mum takes me on 5km walks, which I always enjoy. I haven't been let off lead as I might just run off if I see a rabbit. Better to be safe I suppose but I wish I could. Foster mum says you shouldn’t trust me off lead until my recall training is heaps better.
I am getting better each time I travel in the car. I can't sit still for 5 minutes so we are working on that.
I am learning some obedience too. I can walk nicely on lead; sometimes I forget and I pull a bit but mostly I try to walk properly. I also know how to sit and drop stay. I’m learning not to jump on furniture and people.
If you are interested in making me part of your family please send for an application form. I will need to be rehomed as an only dog but that’s ok cause it’s you I want.
Love from
Missy
