Hi I'm Lucas. I'm a dingo.

I am beautiful and full of life. I didn't get any training or socialisation in my previous home, so I need a committed owner who will show me what to do.

I'm full of beans in my foster home, but I am scared of the big wide world. With some patience, I'm sure I could learn to love it.

I am never aggressive towards other dogs but do tend to overstep the boundaries a bit. I'll need some guidance on appropriate greetings and play.

I am very quiet. I don't bark or howl. I've never felt an urge to escape my backyard either.

I'm very well toilet trained. I'll take myself out through the dog door whenever I need to go.

I'm apprehensive of strangers and need to warm up to them.

I'm very food motivated, which offers lots of opportunities

With the exception of permitted zoos and wildlife parks, dingo ownership is currently illegal in South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland. In the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria and the ACT, dingo owners are required to have a permit. New South Wales is the only region where dingoes can be kept as pets without a license.

Lucas is located in Sydney. The successful applicant will need to collect him from there. This pet will come vaccinated, desexed, and microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
