Hi my name is Owen
I'm a easy going pup. I love other dogs and becoming very social. I also like to go for adventures but when my foster mum calls me back I return tails waging.
I have a met a cat and wanted to play but my foster mum said no and I walked away.
I can walk nicely on a lead. I'm still learning my basics commands though. I love treats so that's what keeps me motivated to learn.
I love getting pats and cuddles they make me fall asleep. My foster mum has lots of children and we get along perfectly, sometimes I get excited and jump up but I always hop back down when I get told to.
As a puppy I get excited and have a quick run around whether it be outside or inside but once I know that this is home I settle quickly.
I'm not a fan of chickens I think they are fast chew toys but I'm still learning not to chase. I love chew toys. :/
Adoption details
If you should chose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue..
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dogs needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next we will arrange for your to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus a $50 non refundable deposit will be kept by the rescue. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to returned from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane..
