About Dodger ~ kelpie x husky, 1yo (On Trial 19/5/17)
Dodger is a 1 year old, male, kelpie x husky. He is a wonderful companion with so much love to give. He is great with cats, dogs, and children. He is house trained and very clean.
Dodger is very intelligent and a very quick learner. He is very eager to please and would make a wonderful agility dog as he will excel at any sort of dog training. He will need 6ft, secure fencing, and a good run twice a day. He needs a dog playmate as he is young and energetic and loves to play.
Dodger will be the perfect dog for someone who will enjoy spending time with him. He will bond very strongly with his human. Dodger has so much love to give and will be a faithful companion.
For more information or to meet Dodger, please contact Lauren by emailing hitthesand@hotmail.com. Dodger is in foster care in Port Stephens, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Dodger's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
