About Milo
Are you looking for a funny, happy-go-lucky, loyal new family member? Milo is a handsome boy, eager to find a forever family to get his life started.
Milo is a bit of a mystery concerning his breed. Border Collie x Staffy mix? Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Kelpie? All I know is that he is an amazing, intelligent and loving boy regardless of what mix he may be.
Milo LOVES people. He, like his foster brother, will do anything for a cuddle and some attention. He also enjoys his daily walk, and is quite happy to just follow along while you lead the way. He is toilet trained, appreciates his crate and is currently learning some basic obedience.
Milo is constantly looking up at me to make sure I approve of what he is doing. He will make you laugh every day, and will be there waiting for you once you come home, with his beautiful smile and huge heart to ensure that you are always happy.
He settles wonderfully inside, and is quite content to spend a few hours sleeping at your feet during the day.
Milo would make an excellent family dog, as he is filled with energy and just loves to play. He has been introduced to young kids, does not jump and has been quite tolerant of them grabbing and cuddling. He was quite jumpy when we first arrived, however this is no longer an issue.
Milo currently lives with 10 other dogs (males and females ranging from 10 weeks to 10 years) and has had no problems with any of them. As he would benefit immensely from having an active, mature dog to help him settle in and keep him company while you are out, this is a must for dear Milo.
Milo will need an owner who is willing to continue with his obedience training and socialisation with other humans and dogs, in order to ensure he grows to become a well-rounded, happy adult dog. A large backyard with a lot of daily, structured mental and physical activity is a must for this energetic boy.
Agility may be a good sport for him to get involved in.
If you are interested in meeting Milo, we would love to hear from you!
Milo is located in Ballarat.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
