Scruffy

Scruffy is a real character, he is great with all types of dogs and is in foster care with large and small dogs. He has also met puppies and was fine with these as well. He was used to living with a St Bernard in his old house so a home with larger dogs doesn't phase him at all.
He has met the resident cat in foster care and is friendly with him as well, so a home with cats would suit him as well.
Scruffy would suit a home as a very much loved lap dog or with another friendly and social dog. He has shown to be best suited with kids over the age of 10, as younger kids do make him a little nervous due to their unpredictable behaviours.

Scruffy is a little shadow dog and is happy to interact with his foster parents whenever he gets the chance. He hasn't shown to have any interest in escaping but we do suggest a home with safe and secure fencing; especially free from any gaps or holes. But we will also accept rural fencing as well if the application is suitable for his needs and requirements.

A home that can maintain his coat and grooming needs is essential, and a home that understands the maintenance behind this. Scruffy isn't very high energy so would suit a home that wants a small dog they can walk once a day. He would easily suit a household with a retired person or couple and a home that has him as mostly indoors only would be our best suggestion. But he has shown to be fine outdoors as well.

He doesn't seem to be overly yappy unlike his breeds may indicate, so he is quite low maintenance and work.

Scruffy is ready to go to his new home after Thursday 9th March but can have meet and greets straight away. He is located on the Central Coast at Morisset and his adoption fee is $350 which includes his microchip, vaccinations, desexing and regular flea and worm treatments.
