About Boo Radley ~ kelpie
Boo 18-month-old male Kelpie. Meet Boo! He is an adorable, happy, healthy and playful boy who has a lovely nature. His full name is Boo Radley, named after everyone’s favourite literary character. Well, maybe not everyone’s but certainly mine. Boo was surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee because he likes playing more than working.
Boo is a fit and active young man who gets along well with adults, children and other dogs. At the moment, Boo is happily sharing a house with four other small breed rescue dogs. Boo loves cuddling and would make a perfect companion for a young family, as he loves playing with older children, but he is still learning not to jump on people. This young man’s aims and passion in life is to just fit in as much love and fun possible.
Although Boo is house trained and is learning basic commands such as, ‘sit’, ‘bed’ and ‘stay’, he needs a little more training and attention. Boo knows ‘come here’ and ‘get up’, responds to whistling (due to his days on the farm) and not to pull on a leash. Being very responsive and eager to learn, Boo is growing into a well-behaved and mature boy and has a lovely nature.
With his short, smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Boo is very low maintenance. Boo would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.Boo will make a wonderful companion dog with great guard dog capabilities.
For more information or to meet Boo, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Boo is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly dog with a loving, permanent home, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Boo is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
