About Captain
O Captain! My Captain!
Since joining a big group of greyhounds in foster care a few months ago, Captain has been loving life - and his teddies! This handsome hound really loves soft toys, to carry around, toss in the air, and snuggle up with. Squeaky toys are a bit too exciting for him, but he is very happy to fetch his tennis ball - he really loves tennis balls, too. In fact, he's pretty enthusiastic about everything in pet life - toys, balls, people, soft beds, and new friends.
The only thing he doesn't get too excited about is food - he's not too fussed about his tucker, but does eat quite well once he's trained you on what he likes. You won't have any trouble convincing him to get in the car - he's always keen to go for a drive, whether it's to the park or the vet. In fact, he'd be happy to just sit in the car in the garage, if you'd let him! Like a lot of greyhounds, Captain loves zoomies! He has a couple of manic zoomie bursts a day, then he's quite happy to head back to a comfortable spot and laze in the sun.
His ideal home would be one where there are people around most of the day, and he could enjoy a short brisk walk after a drive to the park. And you definitely need to have a car! Captain is such a funny boy with so much love to give. Whoever adopts this handsome boy is so lucky!!
