About Octavia ~ 1yo tabby kitty (On Trial 25/6/17)
Octavia is a sweet, 1yo, female, Tabby cat who, due to a family breakdown, is in need of a new home. She is used to living indoors and enjoys going for a short walk on lead! She is litter trained and healthy. She is slim and sleek with a short coat and beautiful green eyes.
She is a pretty cat with an inquisitive nature. She loves toys, especially toys that dangle or rattle. She is quite playful at times. She is clean and easy to care for.
She has not lived with other cats previously but could adapt. She grew up mostly with a dachshund pup and more recently other dachshunds around. She adjusted to them and played with them at times.
Octavia has had the same owner since she was a kitten and has been well loved and looked after. Her owners are very sad to let her go but they have no choice. They are trying hard to find her a loving home and DRN is trying to help. She is available for adoption directly from her owner.
Octavia is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. She is free to a loving, genuine home. A yard check will be conducted and ID cited.
If you can offer a good home for this adorable little girl please contact her owner Guy on 0429 291 865 or email guysaway1@gmail.com. Octavia is in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
