About Mouse
Hi there everyone, my name is Mouse!
I found myself at Lort Smith as the cost of surgery I needed was just a bit too much for my owner. Not to worry... I'm as good as gold now.
Seven weeks ago I had my right hind leg removed as it was very painful but you should see me bouncing around now - I'm a new girl!
I am a little on the cheeky side as I like to give a bark when staff are passing just so they'll come in and give me a pat. Ideally, my new home would be one where I'm the only pet or with another dog of quiet temperament.
I have lived with children before, but following surgery I can still sometimes anticipate pain and need to be handled with understanding and care. If there are children in the home, they should be old enough to know to be gentle with me.
I do enjoy being showered with cuddles and would be so excited to meet you if you think I might fit well into your family. I am going on short walks at the moment and doing really well. Please come and say hello.
