About Candi ~ Cav x Kelpie pup (dep taken, trial 17/3/17
Candi is a beautiful 10 week old female, King Charles Cavalier x Kelpie puppy. She loves to play with her toys and her brother Chester and loves to cuddle with you while watching tv,
She has been living with 7 other dogs so would love to have a small, friendly dog to play with. Candi is a very healthy, happy puppy who needs a family who is home most of the time and due to her small size (only 2 kilograms) is not available to families with children under 10 for her safety. You need good fencing with no gaps and she is not available to homes with rural fencing e.g. ( wire or mesh ).
Like all puppies Candi loves to chew things including fingers and toes, she is learning house training and doing very well and this will need to be continued in her new home with rewards training. Candi is to be a house dog and part of the family and I always recommend puppy school when fully vaccinated. All dogs and puppies need plenty of love, affection, exercise and training.
As Candi is not desexed yet she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to one of our vets at approximately 5 months old for desexing. Candi is NOT available for interstate adoption with no exceptions.
For more information about Candi please contact her foster mum Debbie on 0408 825 714 or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com. Candi is in care in Beresfield, NSW (Newcastle area).
Candi's adoption fee is $650 and includes her desexing, first 2 vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
