About Kev
Meet Kev the dreamboat! This good-looking young chap was picked up wandering on a country road and no one ever came to collect him from the pound - we think maybe he was dumped out there. But how anyone could want to get rid of this guy is beyond us because he is the complete package - good looks, great personality, loving nature, super social with other dogs of all sizes... he has it all!
Kev is only a youngster and, like any good kelpie, he has energy, enthusiasm and zest for life just oozing out of him. This fella needs a new family who seriously want to spend time exercising their new companion. He has a sharp intelligence and is picking up basic commands quickly. He's house-trained and is getting good at walking nicely on lead. For a kelpie lover, they don't come any better. Kev will need to be walked every day and taken on regular adventures to the park, the beach or similar. He would really enjoy on-going training or even agility or obedience classes to keep his active mind busy.
He is an affectionate, people-oriented dog who genuinely enjoys your company and is true blue best-mate material. He would be happy to live as an only dog but does get on well with others so would be great as a companion to an existing pooch.
Kev is a darling youngster who is looking for his life to really begin. Trust us, he will give you a new outlook on life too!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
