About Maui **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**

Maui is one of those sweet cats who just doesn't seem to be getting any breaks. He's been looking for his forever home for a while now, but luck isn't on his side. We at 2nd Chance Cat Rescue don't understand that at all, because one look at this beautiful black-and-white boy and you'll fall in love with him. With his mesmerising green eyes and delightful soft coat, chilled Maui is a handsome man with loads of love to give. Although he grew up without much before coming to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue, he has thrived and takes pride in keeping himself nice and clean. His eyes are bright and he has a lovely coat that he preens with a passion. He can be a little shy at first, but once he's attached to you he's all yours. He is great with other cats, he befriends them all.
The only bad thing we could possibly say about him is that he loves his food a little too much and he really should be on a diet for a while.
He would suit a couple or a family with an older child as he can get overwhelmed and frightened at times.
Maui is too big to attend adoption days, but you can meet this sweetheart at his foster carer's home, just send us an email and we'll organise it with you!
Maui is located in Hampton Park.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form/
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
