About Stella ~ 2yo Great Dane girl (On Trial 10/3/17)
Stella is an absolutely beautiful two year old female Great Dane.
Stella is very intelligent, has lovely manners and just wants to please. Stella is full of love and affection and enjoys nothing better than resting her head in your lap for a cuddle. She is a stunning looking dog with sweet nature and is easy to train.
Stella is over the puppy stage and does not chew or dig. She is very tall and lean and, even though she is not a jumper, she will need high fences to make sure she is secure. Stella has a calm nature and is happy to laze around during the day as long as she gets a couple of good walks and a chance to stretch out her long legs off leash. She will come back to you straight away when called. She would make a fantastic running companion.
Stella loves people but has been neglected in her early life and did not get the opportunity to be taken out and well socialised. She would be ideally suited to an owner that does not have other pets or children and who can give her their full time and attention so she can reach her potential. She is currently happily living outdoors with a Labrador but would love to one on one companionship with a person and be cuddled on the lounge. She is very easy to train and in great physical condition.
If you think you are a good match for Stella and can give her the time and attention she deserves please contact Lucy on 0434 430 720 or lucyhollard@idl.com.au. She will make a loyal and loving companion for life.
Stella is in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Stella's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
