Monty is a super sweet dude who is very puppy-like and so enthusiastic about everything... he is always ready to party!

Monty is great with other dogs and cats as he just loves to play, his best friend is another Chihuahua. He adores their company and can play all day, so a home with little friends to wrestle with is an absolute must.

Monty is a loyal companion; he loves to be wherever you are and is usually right at your feet, you'll hear the pitter patter of paws everywhere you go. He has fantastic recall at home, just call his name and he'll be by your side (that's if he isn't already!).

He is, however, a little too eager to explore the great outdoors, so gates & doors must be secured and he needs to stay on his lead when you're heading out together. Monty is great on lead and loves his daily walks - park trips or walks along the beach are his favourite!

Monty is good with kids, though can be shy of new people at first. He is quite vocal, particularly with strangers and is especially skittish around men, so will need continued work on this, as well as his house training.

You must be prepared to be persistent, patient & positive in working with Monty. He is a clever boy and will truly thrive with an active owner who'll commit to continuing his training and include him as a special member of the family.
