About James ~ cute Staffy x puppy (On Trial 14/5/17)
My name is James, but my foster mum calls me Jimmy. I’m a 3 month old staffy x puppy. I’m a confident cheeky little pup who loves meeting new people of all ages. I love playing with my foster brother and sister, Puggo and Candy and also my foster sister cat Sookie, or anyone else who is around. My little tail is constantly wagging and I have the cutest little face.
My foster mum has started training me basic commands, such as sit and I'm learning how to walk on lead. I’m only new to toilet training, but getting better. My new home will need to continue the training, such as puppy-pre school while I’m young, as I’m a very smart puppy and it would give me the best start to life.
I love to play with any toys I’m given and I’m starting to play fetch and tug-a-war. I also love to investigate my surroundings, and although I love to play, I also love to sleep. If your lap is close, I will curl up and have a puppy nap in your arms until I’m recharged. I love company (someone to be nearby), so would best to have a new family that is around often or have a little playmate.
My foster mum thinks I will get to medium size when I’m fully grown, and would be suitable for a family with school aged children. I’m too young at the moment to go for walks but when I’m older I will need to be walked.
I love cuddles and affection, and my new forever home will need to provide me with a lot of attention.
James's siblings: Luca, Lucinda, Mogwai, Gizmo, Faith, Indiana, Boofy and Luca are also available for adoption.
As James is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet James, please contact his foster mum Indy by email at indy0six@gmail.com. I am in foster carer near Warners Bay, NSW (Newcastle area).
James's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
