About Jye
Jye is a sweet and loving boy, previously adopted 5 years ago from Brisbane as an ex-racer through GAP. He has transitioned into the life of a companion dog with ease, spending his days relaxing inside and going for a nice daily walk or having the occasional short lived sprint around the yard just for fun. Unfortunately due to changed circumstances, Jye is looking for a new family to call his own and will be dearly missed. Although Jye is well behaved with children of all ages, he prefers to wander off to another spot when small kids are about, so would best be suited to a family with older kids or would even love to be a doted on inside companion dog for an older couple who want a no fuss pooch to love. He doesn't jump up, is no hassle inside and is also house trained so you won't have any surprises lurking in the corner! Being a greyhound, it is natural instinct for him to chase things such as birds and cats so he will be requiring a home without these temptations. Get in touch and come and meet Jye with the option of taking him home for a 2 week trial to see if he is the right one for you. I promise his beautiful eyes will suck you right in and you will have a friend for life!
Medical notes
Jye is micro-chipped. Transfer of details upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dinamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. Their is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be retured into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Caitlyn on 0455 551 036 or email caitlyn.hulse@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we dont answer your enquiries straight away.
