Hello there, I'm Vee! I'm looking to make my furever home somewhere I can relax, enjoy lots of cuddles and live out my twilight years in peace and happiness. :)
My personality is very human-oriented! I adore it when my foster mum's nearby, and I LOVE being held - I'll practically demand it, if I notice your hands are free! though I'm also quite curious, and love a good snuffle around the garden. I like being taken on adventures and am very good in the car, though you might have to help me in as my back legs can feel a little bit stiff sometimes!
I'll make a lovely sweet companion for someone who enjoys a quieter pace of life, pottering along beside you as you go about your day.
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm hoping to find an affectionate home where I'll be showered with love and kindness, and where my new family will have plenty of time to spend with me. I think I'd be the perfect match for an older person or retiree, or somebody who works from home.
My background is something of a mystery to my new carers, but I don't like men very much - at all, really. I'm working on it, but it's definitely something important to know about me - I hope you'll be patient as I work out my issues!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm quite bouncy and cheeky for a senior girl - and I wait eagerly at the door every afternoon for my daily walk! Low! I'm a senior girl and I sleep a lot, cuddle a lot and like to sit back and observe the world, though I enjoy the occasional walk too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: There are no kids in my foster home, however I'm happy to meet children and see how our personalities go together!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm not interested in playing, though I am quite comfortable chilling out with other older dogs. I chase cats (they're so fascinating!) and would probably do best in a cat-free home.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
