About Ebony *On Trial in Her New Home*
*EBONY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Introducing the divine Miss Ebony! This gorgeous girl will bring a lucky someone so much love and happiness; will it be you???
Ebony is described by her foster carers as “the most loving soul with a laidback, nothing-fazes-her attitude who’ll make a true friend for life”. This gorgeous girl thrives on companionship and would be best rehoused with another dog for company if you were to be at work for long periods of time. When outside she likes to lie right near the door so she can keep an eye on her humans earning her the affectionate name of ‘door-stop’! She is quite good around children though school age would suit her best just in case she accidentally bowled the littlies over when she was feeling particularly playful.
Delightful Ebony loves spending time with her foster carer’s own dogs; they romp and play, and when they’ve had enough of her puppy antics she’s happy to entertain herself with her chew toys – she also likes a game of fetch, bringing the toy back to you every time. Ebony’s not much of a barker but will give the occasional bark when strangers approach her carer’s home.
While in foster care this clever pup has learnt ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘stay’ as well as shaking paws/hands. She walks well on a lead and will even bring the lead to you as if to say “walkies please”. She travels well in a car and is housetrained so would love a home where she could continue to enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle – cuddles on the couch at night with her humans are the best! She is crate-trained and happily goes in there at bedtime, or at any time during the day when she’s feeling a little sleepy.

After a rough start to life (she came to us with Parvovirus and spent over a week on a drip at our vets fighting for her life) Ebony is fit, healthy and really enjoys food and treats which she takes ever so gently. We guesstimate she'll be small Labrador size once fully grown and you can see the Staghound-like wirey hair starting to appear throughout her coat. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make Ebony very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
