About Tigger the terrific
Hi I'm Tigger! Pleased to meet you. If you are looking for a playful, loving, energetic little guy to join your family then I'm your man!
I would be best suited to an active family who will take me on regular walks and outings to fun places like the park and the beach. I am a bit of an energiser bunny who loves to be part of the action so I could suit a family with kids who will spend lots of time with me. Otherwise a busy retired couple who want to take me places with them would be great too!
Playing with other dogs is heaps of fun; I have mostly been around other small dogs but bigger dogs would be fine if they are appropriate with me. I have only been around cats a little bit and they do seem interesting to chase - I wouldn't hurt one but if you have one at your house you will need to introduce me to them slowly.
My foster family describes me as adaptable and well-behaved - I settled into their home quickly and am very well house-trained. I'm a busy little guy who likes to investigate and stick my nose into things and I'm not too fond of being left home alone for long periods of time. In my previous home my family worked long hours and shift work and I got lonely a lot plus they left me outside and I kept escaping to go find them.
So I will need secure fencing that goes all the way to the ground with no gaps for me to squeeze through! Of course I don't want to run away when people are around so don't think I'm just on a mission to get away!.
There isn't much more for me to tell you about myself. I'm just a cute, friendly, loving little guy. I will make an awesome companion so please get in touch today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
