About Lea
Lea is one of two puppies ready to find their forever home - she will only be adopted to a home where there is another dog or with her sister Mia.
Being a pup she still needs more puppy training but is a quick learner. Lea has plenty of energy and loves her toys, sleeps all through the night and is learning to go to the toilet out in the garden.
Lea will need a secure fence (preferably colour bond); she is only small and can squeeze through small spaces. She will need a yard in which to run around and have access to inside the house 24 hours a day. She needs to be included in the family and not be left outside during the day.
Lea is a delightful little dog and will make a wonderful addition to the right home. She is not suitable to be around children under the age of 10.
If you would like to know more about this darling little girl, please phone Nigel on 02 6584 4992.
Lea is Not available for adoption until after the 20th of March 2017.
Applications to adopt this gorgeous little girl are now being accepted. Lea and her sister Mia can be adopted as a pair if desired.
Please note that a completed application form does not guarantee you will be the successful applicant. Each application will be judged on its merits and suitability to this particular pet.
Adoption details
The first step is to phone or email Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. for assessment regarding prospective ownership and pet suitability.
Adoption Application forms must be completed.
A property inspection will be carried out on properties in the Port Macquarie area so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you’ve selected. Proof of home ownership will be required. If renting your home, a letter from the owner’s agent confirming that the pet is allowed will be required.
A 2 week trial period commences on the day of adoption. If, for any reason, the dog is returned to Midcoast Dog Rescue within the trial period, the total adoption fee paid will be refunded.
All Midcoast Dog Rescue animals come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (up to date), vet checked ,wormed, flea and tick treated.
.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
