About Mia
Mia is a real little cutie! One of two puppies ready to find their forever home, she will only be adopted to a home where there is another dog, or with her sister Lea.
Being a pup she still needs more puppy training but is a quick learner. Mia has plenty of energy and loves her toys, sleeps all through the night and is learning to go to the toilet out in the garden.
Mia, will not grow to be very big and will need a colour bond fence and gates to keep her safe and secure. She is inquisitive and would be able to squeeze through very small spaces. She definitely needs a yard to run around and play in with her doggy friend.
Mia needs to be made feel that is part of the family and therefore needs to be able to access inside the house 24 hours a day. She is not suited to being left alone at home for long periods and would make an ideal companion for a single person working from home or a retiree who has an existing dog.
Mia is Not available for adoption until after the 20th of March 2017. Mia can be adopted with her sister Lea if desired.

.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
