About Annabelle
Before Annabelle came to us last year, she had been the loving companion of her previous owner for the better part of 13 years. When her owner became too ill to look after her, Annabelle was brought to our clinic. Even then, her owner would call to check in on her, even calling on Annabelle's birthday to make sure we made a fuss over her (which we did of course!). Despite our hopes that Annabelle would eventually be able to go home, her owner tragically passed away late last year.
After the loss of her home and her sole companion, this lovely little lady has been living at our clinic, during which time we have gotten to know her affectionate nature, as well as learning how to best manage her digestive problems which are controlled through feeding her a specific diet.
Annabelle is an affectionate, wide-eyed girl who loves nothing more than burrowing under her blanket and a good head scratch between her naps. Her excited trilling is the first thing we hear when we come in to open the clinic. We at the clinic all agree she has spent enough time rubbing her head up against the bars of her cage in hopes of a pat from a busy nurse, and deserves a nice comfortable home where she can spend her golden years getting all the attention she deserves. Annabelle would be suited to a household where there are no other cats/dogs or small children, and with someone who has the time and the means to spend a little time each day with her and help manage ongoing digestive issues.
