About “Tilly”, Tiny Timekeeper. Melbourne / Ballarat
Little Miss Tilly is a creature of habit. Her human colleagues in the workplace foster care program say you can set your watch by her: 8.30am drink of water, 11am pee break, and 3pm hilarious zoom around the office! Five minutes later, she’s ready for another nap, having reduced her humans to helpless giggles. Tilly’s personality is showing more every day, and her happy dances at dinner time, or when her humans get home, are a sight to behold!
At 22 kg, Tilly’s tiny for a greyhound, with her dainty face dominated by two very expressive eyes. Despite her small size, she almost pushes people over when she leans in for a cuddle! Tilly loves all humans, including older children (seven or over). She’s not so confident meeting new dogs, especially small ones (she’s not sure what they are!), but gets on well with her foster carers’ dogs now that she knows them. Cats, chickens or other small animals are off-limits for this curious, lively girl.
Tilly has a passion for exploring, so will need plenty of walks to sniff the neighbourhood, as well as secure fences to prevent any unauthorised expeditions. Her ideal humans will include her in their everyday household routines, and gently introduce her to more new experiences.
Tilly thinks the world is a wonderful place to explore – with her human best friends at her side!
