About Ivy ~ Staffy x ~ girl puppy (on trial 4/3/17)
Hi! I’m Poison Ivy (Ivy for short). I’m a 5 month old, female, Staffy x with the cutest smile in the entire world. Just ask me. I’m quite the adventurous one and enjoy exploring my surroundings and new places.
I’m a bundle of energy and absolutely love to run and play with my toys. I’m currently in care with my sister Harley (also available) and a bulldog and they keep me quite busy! But I do get bored and lonely during the day when left alone with nothing to entertain myself. So my clever foster mum introduced me to these new things called "bones" and oh my god I could just sit in the same spot and nibble on them all day! As you might notice in my photos, food is my bestest friend.
I’ve figured out how much fun water is to play in and I love to spend hot days splashing around in my shell pool. I’ve just mastered how to walk on a leash comfortably and am getting really good at house training as well!
I would suit a family that has time to take me on afternoon walks and play games of fetch with me (which I’m great at by the way) or has another dog for me to play with. I have been introduced to children and I absolutely love them, but with my growing strength and puppy movements I can frighten them a little or accidently bump them with my happy, wagging tail.
If you’d like me to show you how adorable my smile reaaaaally is please contact my foster carer.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
