Toohey

Toohey stands quite tall and is full of energy and love. With this in mind he will require a home with high secure fences a large garden and plenty of things to do every day including twice daily walks and runs.
Toohey has had some minor training in his past as he does know how to sit but with his enthusiasm for life he can become quite forgetful of other commands. He would greatly benefit from having an EXPERIENCED dog owner who has lots of free time to work with him and will ensure that Toohey attends obedience training to help remind him of all his doggies manners socialise with other people and dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as help ensure he matures in to a well-mannered senior dog.
Due to Toohey's light colouration he can be prone to skin cancer and needs an owner who has a sun smart lifestyle. Toohey will need to be kept in the shade or indoors as much as possible in the summer months and have pet safe sun screen applied to his pink skin regularly. We also recommend that Toohey gets 6 monthly check ups on his skin with a veterinarian to help ensure any early signs of skin cancer can be caught and treated.
