Vanilla

Vanilla is a gorgeous, sweet girl who can be a little shy.

In the few weeks that she has been in foster care, she has come a very long way and has gained an incredible amount of confidence. She now loves playing with the kids, enjoys a lot of belly cuddles and is very easy going around the house. She is quickly picking up house rules and human expectations!

Vanilla is very well socialised with other dogs - she is respectful yet playful. When out and about she thrives in the doggy park, going for walks in the bush or having a swim by the river.

She is gentle on the leash and has learnt to sit and is also being crate trained. She does require more training and exposure to being out and about as she gets nervous in busy situations outside of her home.

Vanilla would benefit from living in a quieter suburb and would do really well with a companion dog who can show her the ropes of dealing with the outside world and everything that is still unfamiliar to her.

We are looking for a family that has experience, is committed to some further training and socialisation and will be patient with her while she gains more confidence each day. A home that will include her in their daily lives, include her in all the fun stuff and allow her inside for cuddles and hanging out with the humans.

A home with another dog for company and confidence and or someone home more often than not, would be ideal.
