Mystic is a beautifully natured gentle greyhound. She is happy to be around other dogs, though is just as happy to be on her own. She has a playful spirit that is emerging more and more every day, with a fondness for squeaky toys and soft toys, she will even occasionally chase a ball.
She loves to spend her time on her bed. If she's not there, she is most likely shadowing you wherever you go and standing close for cuddles and pats.
Commands aren't her thing, yet, though she will easily go where you want her to, it will just take some time to get her familiar with the commands.
Mystic is not suitable with small animals including cats, pocket pets or small dogs.

Mystic will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & heart worm tested.
It is recommended that your new greyhound wears a muzzle whilst walking and when meeting other animals for at least a month after adoption, while they are getting used to their new lifestyle. Some local government authorities require dogs to be muzzled in public. Always check with your local council regarding their requirements.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
