Hey everybody. My name is Carlos, I'm a happy bouncing baby boy :) I will be looking for my new home in a few weeks so SAFE is taking expressions of interest! Also I think she wanted to share my photos. For some reason everyone seems to melt when they see me! I guess I may be a little cute. What do you think?
Well what do I like to do with my days……. Hmmm, being a puppy it’s mischief and bouncing around with my siblings on the grass. I'm a happy social little guy and also don't mind a cuddle when I can stay still long enough.
I'm pretty small so there's a chance I have Chihuahua in my breeding. It’s worth mentioning incase I am. Chi’s need extra training when it comes to children and manners etc. Foster mum has some info on this which she will paste at the bottom for you :)

Chihuahuas are comical, entertaining, and loyal little dogs, absolutely brimming with personality – often a quirky and eccentric personality unmatched by any other breed. Other than that generalization, Chihuahuas are extremely variable. You can find individuals who are lively or placid, bold or timid, feisty or mellow, confident or nervous, stubborn or eager to please!
Chihuahuas need a lot of socialisation and training. They often have a label for being nasty dogs but in truth this is mostly due to humans condoning bad behaviour (as with any other breed really, but Chi's are treated more like toys than dogs so seem to get away with it more). Chihuahuas tend to bond to one person or their family unit and can become standoffish or aggressive to outsiders. It is important that this behaviour is recognised as unacceptable and dealt with immediately.
Chihuahuas are not ideally suited to families with young children... amongst various reasons, one is they break easily! They also have a very long life span (15-22yrs!) so getting a puppy for an elderly family member as a companion may not be in the dog’s best interests later on in life.
Please take these points into consideration before applying to adopt a Chi breed.
