About Rex
Now we can only imagine what life this dog may have had prior to coming into our care you see Rex was brought into a Sydney Animal Shelter with no actual fur on him except for his head.
You see Rex had a tumour which was causing his body to produce too much oestrogen and being a male dog that was not good. So his body went haywire and he dropped all his hair. Now since his tumour has been removed and he was desexed he is a new man looking for a loving and caring home.
Rex is a pure bred German Shepherd whose hair has now grown.
Currently he is enjoying life being in a foster home at Windsor with his fellow chums and is a good natured shepherd, totally house trained and becoming use to being loved and given inclusion in the home. Rex has met little children and was not phased and gentle with his attention.
Rex visits the local dark park and he is a like a "kid in a candy store" his carer revealed. He loves to meet all the dogs and shows no aggression just happy to be out and about and socialising. This boy has personality plus he has been given a new lease on life and he is loving being alive and is a character to be with he talks to you and looks directly into your eyes seeking connection.
Being a mature aged dog we are looking for a home where he can be a companion dog have inclusion in the home and just be loved, but a home without cats.
So if you feel you can give this boy a good home then please contact Jan.
Medical notes
Rex is desexed, vaccinated C5 on heart worm prevention and has been flea treated. He requires no other medical treatment just a loving home.
