Meet the gorgeous Vevo!

Vevo is an absolute darling of a puppy. She is very sweet and affectionate, topped off with adorable puppy eyes. Vevo has excellent manners with her people and she has already learnt not to jump or play bite. Instead she prefers to get lots of pats and cuddles from you. Vevo loves snuggle time and will happily curl up on the lounge with you when she’s allowed (otherwise she stays off the furniture). She is people orientated and really enjoys just being around you and going anywhere with you. Vevo enjoys meeting new people and everyone comments on how pretty she is with her shiny black coat with streaks of gold through it.

During her time in care, Vevo has been well socialised with a range of dogs. Currently, she is in care with other puppies and large adult dogs. Vevo absolutely loves to play with her friends and enjoys chasing and wrestling games. She also enjoys playing with toys like rope toys, chew bones and tugs. Vevo goes to the off-lead park daily and has become confident and happy to meet new dogs. She has polite manners with other dogs and is of a more submissive nature. Vevo is a very active puppy who will require significant daily exercise, especially once she gets a bit older. Her new family will need to be committed to taking her out each day and she would greatly benefit from trips to off-lead dog parks or beaches where she can run until her heart is content. Vevo definitely like the water, especially when it’s hot!

Vevo is doing very well with her basic training. She can sit on command, is excellent off lead with good recall, and walks well on a lead. Vevo is a smart girl who is eager to please and food motivated. This means that she picks up new things very quickly and she is easy to train. Vevo is still young though and will have a lot more to learn in life, so it is vital that her new family is committed to continuing her training. She is also crate trained and progressing well with toilet training. Currently, Vevo will use a puppy pad in the house or holds on until she is taken outdoors.

We are looking for a home where Vevo will be a part of a family and very loved. She will require an active and stimulating environment where she is incorporated in daily activities and outings with the family. She should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a comfy bed to sleep on inside out of the weather.

Vevo is not a typical family dog or first dog, she is very active and does require a family with working dog (or high activity) experience and one that would like to do some form of dog sport would be ideal as she requires this kind of mental and physical stimulation. She also must have another playful dog at home to help expend some of her energy.
