About Chicco
Chicco is a very attractive plump grey and white smoochy boy who the cat stork dropped on the doorstep of a fellow rescuer.
Poor Chicco had a bad start in life, discovered in a cardboard box left on the porch, he was tiny, sick with flu his coat matted with splotches of paint, a sorry sight indeed.
I first saw him at the house, a tiny waif kneading the blanket in pure joy.
A fan heater was keeping him warm, he had food, safety and love but goodness knows what he had suffered in his short life.
Malnutrition in the early weeks of development is a possible cause of his dental issues. His teeth were removed some time back. Not having any teeth doesn't really bother him. He eats just like any other cat. Sometimes more!
Chico is quite shy! but so affectionate with those he trusts. His coat is thick and luxurious, he's a good looking boy with beautiful soft tones of grey and white.
Friendly to other cats if you have them, a quiet personality who is looking for a lap this winter.
Chicco would make an excellent companion for a person working from home, a couple, a family with older children, unit dwellers or a home with other cats.
He was recently uprooted from his former rescue home due to a relationship breakdown.
Medical notes
Chico had all his teeth removed due to suspected malnutrition as a developing kitten.
He has recently been boarded at our vets during the disruption incurred by losing his home at which time we had him tested for Feline Immune Deficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia. He is negative to both.
His vaccination, flea treatment and worming have been updated.
