About Cinji ~ On Trial 3/3/17
Introducing Cinji a gentle 8 year old border collie X kelpie who is a total sweetheart. Cinji is very easy going and a pleasure to care for - she loves her humans and is at her happiest when she's with you.
Cinji would be a great match for a mid life couple or semi retirees. She is very quiet when meeting new people and likes to show off her beautiful manners when meeting others. She is quite shy so she prefers a quiet and relaxed environment. She is fine with children, however due to her quiet and placid nature we feel she is better suited to a home without young kids.
Cinji is currently in foster care with 7 other dogs of different breeds, size and age. She was scared and wary of them at first but now she co-exists happily with them. She's not a player and isn't reliant on canine companionship so she would do well as an only dog or living with another friendly, calm dog of a similar independent temperament.
Cinji would love a daily walk with her family, she isn't high energy like many kelpies or border collies though. She was previously a companion dog so her most favourite thing in is to keep you company. Cinji will need to be allowed inside the home whenever her family is home and she must sleep inside – due to her age and her love of humans she will thrive as an inside dog. Cinji doesn’t need a big yard, in fact she would suit town house or apartment living as long as she was taken for a walk daily to stretch her legs.
For more information or to meet lovely Cinji, please contact Jo on 0427 695 104 (outside business hours) or email jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. Cinji is in foster care near Morisset, NSW (Central Coast).
Cinji's adoption fee is $300 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
