Axel

Axel is a wonderful companion canine; he is a lover not a fighter. Axel is loyal, trained, affectionate, and just a pleasure to have around. He is social with dogs and people of all sizes. This gentle boy is quite easy to walk on the lead, and has a good recall at the park, not that he needs much calling, he mostly checks-in, or walks by your side all on his own.

Axel sits, he shakes his paw, and follows a few other commands, in general he is a fantastic easy dog. However, he is a bit of an escape artist (when left alone); a few times, while in foster care he has jumped the fence while his carers’ have been out. It seems Axel’s preference is to be around others (human and dog), and he requires an extra secure yard (while he settles-in). It is recommended that Axel does not go to a home where he will be left alone for long periods of time.

This dog loves to cuddle, and snooze close to his friends (human and furry). Axel is a joy to be with, and will show his gratitude to his new forever family.
