About Hoody
Hoody is a lovely natured dog, has obvious abuse history due to cowering and shaking. I can pick up an item (could be a salt shaker or hose outside) in my home or out in yard and he thinks immediately he is in trouble and will cower. He will also cower at a firm/gruff word ☹ directed to another.
Is a genius at climbing fencing and will search for an out up until he has felt more at home here and gained confidence with us....he happily now follows my side and play with other dog whilst I'm out with him. He is accustomed to sleeping on a couch with our dog at night. No indoor accidents. Loves to snuggle with you on couch.
He is fussy with food, certainly not food driven although is protective over food sitting there.
I think he's full of energy and with the right person, would make an amazing agility dog and/or working dog.
Has been amazing with my 10yo son, a large dog, chook and cats....oh and ferret!
Further to another dog; is food protective and dominant over our large Bull Arab dog. Chook; has been left unattended with single chook with no attempts of attack etc. Cats; Ignores cats whilst indoors and while I am present in yard, however will chase when not attended.
He is in need of a non aggressive person/family who will show him patience and love to see him through his unsure and scared nature. I think he will blossom to a confident dog along with the right training.
He is in foster care in Rosebud
