Meet Ozzy,

Ozzy is a very cute male guinea pig he is also very friendly and is more than happy to come out of his cage for a cuddle, he would make an ideal family pet.

Breed: Alpaca X Rex (long hair)

Please note: OZZY has long hair and will need to be housed on absorbent bedding e.g. Wood shavings/fleece/paper kitty litter off the ground. Ideally we are looking for an indoor home for him, as this is what he is used to. Out door patio hutches will be consider also

Longhaired guinea pigs should not be fully housed outdoors on the grass, as they are more prone to matting.

He will also need his coat brushed/ trimmed on a regular basis and should have a bath as needed to keep him looking gorgeous and to prevent matts/soiling of the coat as well.

An outdoor cage for just some playtime on the lawn is fine but for his mainstay housing we're looking for the above.

Ozzy is currently looking for a friend, So if you have a lonely male guinea pig why not consider adopting and seeing if Ozzy could be your male guinea pigs new best friend

If you have a female the shelter is also able to de-sex Ozzy for you. The adoption fee would then be $85.00
