Meet Chocolate!

Chocolate is a very cute little lady and she is also very friendly and is more than happy to come out of her cage for a cuddle, she would make an ideal family pet.

Breed: Sheba Mini Yak (long hair)

Please note: Chocolate has very long hair and will need to be housed on absorbent bedding e.g. Wood shavings/fleece/paper kitty litter off the ground. Ideally we are looking for an indoor home for her, as this is what she is used to.

Longhaired guinea pigs should not be fully housed outdoors on the grass, as they are more prone to matting.

She will also need her coat brushed/ trimmed on a regular basis and should have a bath as needed to keep her looking gorgeous and to prevent matts/soiling of the coat as well.

An outdoor cage for just some playtime on the lawn is fine but for his mainstay housing we're looking for the above.

Chocolate came to the shelter with a horrible skin condition and also a large cyst that required surgery to remove, she has now healed 100% and is looking for a loving home.
