About Lacina
Introducing lovely little Lacina!
Lacina is a beautiful girl who has a sweet nature to match. Her favourite thing would have to be curling up in her foster carer’s lap for snuggles. Lacina enjoys getting gentle affection and pats, and she has even worked out that tummy rubs are nice too. She is a relatively calm puppy who will be well suited to living indoors with the family.
During her time in care, Lacina is being well socialised with dogs of all ages and sizes. She enjoys playing with her siblings and investigating new toys. Lacina is only very small (currently only between 1-1.5kg) so is wary of the other dogs squishing her but is becoming more confident as she gets older. Her new family need to continue with her socialisation and will need to provide her with appropriate exercise and stimulation.
Lacina is undergoing basic training while in foster care. At the moment that is consisting of experiencing new places and noises, and will continue onto learning to sit for a treat and how to walk on a lead. It is vital that her new family are committed to continuing her training as she will have much more to learn as she grows up. Currently, Lacina is being crate trained, which is going very well, and is progressing with toilet training. She will usually toilet on puppy training pads when she is in the house.
We are looking for a home where Lacina will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. She will requrie a home with another suitable doggy companion and/or someone who is home most of the time so that she gets the attention that she deserves. Lacina is best suited to be an indoors dog due to her size and calm nature, though being able to have access to outside to toilet and explore would be nice as well. She will also require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on out of the weather. Lacina has not yet met other types of pets but with the appropriate introductions and training she should be able to live harmoniously with other species.
