About Fred **Adopted**
**ADOPTED**
Fred is a delightful, happy young man who is full of life and love.
Fred, a Kelpie x Border Collie, was surrendered to us by his owner. Although it broke their heart to do so, they wanted Fred to stay alive. Fred has lived on a farm for his whole 18 months of life on a farm in the mid north. However, Fred has an appetite for sheep. When farming dogs chase sheep they are more often than not shot. They didn't want this to happen to Fred, so brought him into the city for us to find him a fabulous home.
Fred gets along well with other dogs, has lived previously with cats and loves people and pats! He is an affectionate and smart dog with loads of potential.
As Fred is still only a young boy, he would benefit from further training and socialisation. He has been taught hand commands such as sit, drop and no and would learn other tricks with ease.
He will do well in a home with another dog for company, or will do just as equally as well in a home as the only dog. Fred is not well suited to a property with sheep (or neighbouring sheep).
If you are looking for a lifelong and loyal companion, Fred is your man!
Fred comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, micro-chipped, worm and flea treated and with a ‘starter pack’ that contains a bed, food, collar, lead, toys and important information for new owners.
