About Fontina
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Fontina AKA Fonty, a soft little darling who will melt you like cheese! A kitten who LOVES to play, Fonty is also very affectionate – after taking a bit of time to get to know his humans. He can seem quite shy to begin with, but as soon as he’s comfortable he will come out of his shell.
No matter how sleepy or relaxed Fonty is, if you break out a toy he will be there in a heartbeat! This lovely little guy is very snuggly with his brothers, but is also the instigator when it's 'play fighting' time. When everyone is calm and quiet, he loves to snuggle up to his human and get face bumps galore.
MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with someone who has a bunch of toys for me to play with, who is happy to have interactive playtime with me to keep me physically and mentally happy, and also the patience to make sure I’m comfortable while I’m getting used to my new home.
I do lots of sleeping during the day, but definitely need toys set up before you leave so I can keep myself happy if I get bored! I do love tumbling around with my brothers before curling up on them to sleep, so another feline friend would be ideal.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am all about the playtime! I can leap and run for ages and love pretty much all toys, but I also love to unwind with my human at the end of a long day (though I will generally sleep on my own in a cosy little spot). I'm definitely not too much of a handful, my brothers and I are all very well-behaved kittens!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I’d be suitable to children who are gentle, patient and understanding, as I can be a little bit shy to begin with. If they know how to handle a cat toy, I’ll be their best friend.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I was found with my two brothers, who I'm living with now in foster care. I’d be very happy to have another feline friend as long as they are up for some serious playing!
I have never been around dogs, but I think I’d be happy to live with a dog that kept me company and was patient with my play fighting also!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
