About Calzone
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Calzone AKA Cal, the hearty explorer! Don’t let his tiny size fool you, Cal is the first of his brothers to explore a new space or toy when given the chance, but also the most shy around new people. It may take him a while to get used to you, but once he does, he will eagerly accept pats and will come up for snuggles while you’re relaxing.
He loves playing with toys, is EXTREMELY vocal at dinner time, and also loves a rough 'n tumble with his siblings. When it’s 'Cal time', though, he’ll happily take himself off to have a little nap on his own.
MY IDEAL HOME: ... is a big space with plenty of nooks and crannies for me to explore and run around in! It'll have lots of toys, and someone who will be patient with me while I get used to my new surroundings.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to play, but I also like to have a little space I can retire to when I want to be alone and snooze.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I’d be suitable to children who are gentle and patient with me, as I can be a little bit shy to begin with.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love playing with my brothers and cuddling with them, but if it all gets too much I like to go off on my own - so having my own space is important, if I were to live with a feline friend.
I have never been around dogs, but I think I’d be happy to live with a dog that kept me company and was patient with my play fighting also!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
