About Pink
Meet Pink, one our three musketeers- a trio of sisters saved from the kill list in a pound across the state.
Pink is quickly coming out of her shell and becoming a friendly, affectionate and outgoing girl. She's being crate trained, and doing very well - most nights there is no crying. She has only been needing help getting outside for a wee once a night now!
She is fantastic with other dogs and is starting to learn the basics like sit, wait etc after not even a fortnight in care! We believe these girls are staffy x- we are sure on the staffy, but not on the mix - we believe kelpie or maybe ridgeback but aren't too sure because unfortunately people who leave their puppies to die don't usually leave a note on their parents! Luckily for the girls though, they get to be fostered by an amazing vet nurse so they're receiving the best of care and we are all fairly sure they will grow to be like short, stocky kelpies with the 'staffy head'! We would expect (but cannot guarantee) that they will hit 25kg max as adults.
Medical notes
Pink has had her first vaccine and microchip, and is up to date with flea and worming. Her next vaccination is due end Jan 17- should this fall due after adoption that is the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. While in OTC care however, all vaccinations are kept up to date. She can be desexed at 4 months old at an OTC-approved vet (we have several options all over QLD and N NSW) and the desex charge is included in the fee. Simply book in at the approved vet at 4mo of age, OTC sends off an authorisation for the booking, drop her in and OTC pays! Desex surgery, antibiotics, pain relief and desex certificate are all included. There will be nothing for you to pay on the day of surgery and should any post-op complications arise where not deemed to be due to adopter negligence, OTC will cover that too.

If you are approved, we can meet up in a park or at your home to decide if this is the right pet for you! If you have other dogs they will need to be at the meet.
Adoption comes with a one week trial to make sure we are the perfect fit for each other and there is a contract for you to sign so you know we are all covered. *PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS FOR MORE THAN THREE DAYS and in these cases a non-refundable deposit is required*
