About Blossom ~ Chihuahua x Moodle pup (on trial 16/2)
Blossom is a beautiful, 10 week old, female Chihuahua x Moodle puppy. Blossom loves to play with his toys and siblings and loves to cuddle with you watching tv. She has been living with her siblings and 7 other dogs so would like another friendly small dog to play with.
Blossom is a very healthy and happy puppy who needs a family who is home most of the time and is not available to families with children under 10 years because of her small size - under 2 kilograms. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Like all puppies she loves to chew things including fingers and toes, she is learning house training and is doing very well for her age, but her training will need to be continued in her new home with reward training. Blossom is to be a house dog and part of the family and I always recommend puppy school when she is fully vaccinated. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Blossom's siblings: Bartley and Boi are also available for adoption.
As Blossom is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Blossom, please phone her foster mum Debbie on 0408 825 714 (preferred) or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com. Blossom is in care in Beresfield, NSW (near Newcastle).
Blossom's adoption fee is $650 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
