About Boi ~ Chihuahua x Moodle pup (on trial 16/2/17)
Boi is a beautiful, 10 week old, male Chihuahua x Moodle puppy. Boi loves to play with his toys and siblings and loves to cuddle with you watching tv. He has been living with his siblings and 7 other dogs so would like another friendly small dog to play with.
Boi is a very healthy and happy puppy who needs a family who is home most of the time and is not available to families with children under 10 years because of his small size - under 2 kilograms. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Like all puppies he loves to chew things including fingers and toes, he is learning house training and is doing very well for his age, but his training will need to be continued in his new home with reward training. Boi is to be a house dog and part of the family and I always recommend puppy school when he is fully vaccinated. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Boi's siblings: Blossom and Bartley are also available for adoption.
As Boi is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Boi, please phone his foster mum Debbie on 0408 825 714 (preferred) or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com. Boi is in care in Beresfield, NSW (near Newcastle).
Boi's adoption fee is $650 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
