About Zala ~ Beagle x ~ (on trial 17/02/17)
Zala, Beagle x Staffy X Rottweiler. This sweet 15 month old girl will steal your heart. Her floppy beagle ears are irresistible. She loves to snuggle and get attention from her family. She is great with other dogs and is currently living in foster care with two adult dogs and chickens and she is wonderful with them. She would suit a family who is around most of the time and with an existing dog as she has always had company and gets lonely on her own. She isn’t in foster care with children; however her gentle and loving nature would make her suitable for kids of any age.
Zala is house trained, comes when called, barely barks and isn’t a digger either. She knows basic commands such as sit and knows to wait for her dinner. She is incredibly smart and food orientated so training will be a breeze.
Zala is an indoor/outdoor dog and she loves inside time with her family. She is medium energy dog and is at her happiest curled up in front of the TV but also loves daily walks and a play in the park. She hasn’t been exposed to small pets like cats or rabbits, however she has been living with chickens and has shown great gentleness towards them.
Zala is still young and needs daily walks and stimulation to ensure she doesn’t get bored. She would suit most families who have plenty of love and time to give. She will grow into a very loving, affectionate and loyal companion.
If you have lots of love to give, and a warm cosy inside bed where she can curl up at night then please contact her foster carer on kikii1987@hotmail.com. Zala is in foster care in Tighes Hill, NSW (Newcastle). is available for adoption interstate.
Zala's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
