About Django ~ Bull Arab X Puppy ~ On Trial 30/4/17
Hi I’m Django and I’m a 7 month old Bull Arab X puppy. My most striking features are my amazing clear blue eyes and my cheeky personality. Everyone who meets me loves my unique character and stunning good looks (I’m also very modest). I’m a very big pup so I’m going to be a big adult – which just means there is more of me to love!
I’m currently in foster care with 20 other medium to large dogs and I have a great time playing with and learning from them. My best friend is a husky x called Loco who is my role model and play mate. I like to follow him around and play rough games with him. I am too big and rough for little dogs who find my size overwhelming, so I'm best suited to playing with medium and large dogs.
I love people a lot! I’m happy meeting new people and I’ll be your bestie in no time. Because of my large size and lanky goofiness, I’m best suited to a family with older kids or kids confident with large dogs. I love playing with toys and I’ve just learnt that splashing in a clam pool filled with water is so much fun on a hot day! I would love a family who will take me out for a daily walk, so if you are near a lake or beach I’ll happily show off my new water skills by joining you for a paddle.
I am very clever and a delight to train as I'm so treat focused. I will sit right at your feet waiting for my next treat from you even when the other dogs are bouncing around me and tempting me to play. Considering I’ll be a very large adult, I’d benefit from advanced training to help me grow into a well-rounded and well-mannered adult. Puppy-training classes give us new furkid family members the best start in life!
I’m a total cheeky rascal and I learnt to escape the yard as a puppy so I'm best in a house with 6 foot colourbond fencing and a family who will spend a lot of time with me . I will need to sleep inside and be allowed inside when my new family is at home - I'm too social to be left alone in the back yard.
For more information or to meet Django, please contact Jo on 0427 695 104 (outside business hours) or email jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. Django is in foster care near Morisset, NSW (Central Coast).
Django's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
I need 3 meals a day as I am growing up very fast but I haven't filled out just yet. 3 healthy meals will help put on some body weight and give me the energy I need to play like a typical puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
